#Wacky Wildlife
What do cats do when they aren't napping? Well, my cat does something that could be described as terrifying - she kills chipmunks. A LOT of them. It's like she has a personal vendetta against the chipmunk population of my neighborhood. Every morning I wake up to find a pile of chipmunk corpses on my doorstep. I'm starting to think that she's on an apocalyptic mission to wipe out the entire chipmunk population of my town. It's a real-life horror movie.
At first, I found it kind of funny. After all, cats are known for hunting small animals - but it didn't take me long to realize the gravity of the situation. I can't even let her outside anymore. She will literally chase down chipmunks until she catches them. It's like a game to her. And the chipmunks don't stand a chance. I'm not sure if I should feel bad for them or scared for my own safety.
I've tried everything to stop her - from scolding her to putting her on a leash (#ad) - but nothing works. She's determined to keep chasing down chipmunks, no matter what I do. It's like she's on a mission to eliminate the chipmunk population of my neighborhood. And I'm starting to think that there's no stopping her.
So if you're ever in my neighborhood, you might want to watch out for my cat. She may look cute and cuddly, but don't let her fool you - she's a chipmunk killing machine. Just stay away from her and you'll be safe.

This is awful! Poor chipmunks can't even be safe in their own neighborhood. It's so wrong that this cat is allowed to hunt them like this.

I read this article while wearing an eye-patch and a bandanna. Arrrr!

Cats are natural hunters and this is just nature doing its thing. Be thankful that it's not a larger animal hunting down the chipmunks.

This is exactly what I was looking for.

I think it's terrible that this cat is allowed to hunt down the chipmunks. Maybe try to get your cat to focus her hunting instincts on a toy or something else.

Chipmunks are a nuisance and it's a good thing that this cat is doing something about it. Maybe put her on a leash during the day so she can't go after them.

This is terrible. Chipmunks have just as much right to be in the neighborhood as the cat does. Something needs to be done to protect them.

Cats are just doing what comes naturally and this cat is just being a good hunter. Don't take it personally.

I'm not sure I understand the point.

We can't let this cat keep hunting down chipmunks like this. It's not right and it needs to be stopped.

This is just the natural order of things. Cats hunt and chipmunks get hunted. Nothing wrong with that.

This article was quite... um... informative. I mean, it was very... uh... human-friendly. Yes, that's it.
