I was high as a kite. Ignacio and I had been taking mescaline all day, and we were both starting to feel the effects. I was driving, and Ignacio was riding shotgun. We were on our way to the store to buy some more weed, but we were having trouble staying focused.

The suburban landscape was vast and filled with ticky tacky, and the sun was beating down on us. The only sound was the wind rushing past our ears. The smell of fresh grass clippings in the air. I pinballed between being in domestic bliss and all out nightmare. Ignacio was ranting and raving, and I was trying to keep my eyes on the road. I was starting to hallucinate, and I could see strange shapes and colors dancing before me.

We finally reached the store, and I pulled into the parking lot. We got out of the car, and I felt like I was going to be sick. The heat was unbearable, and the noise of the traffic was deafening. We went inside the store, and I went to the checkout counter. I bought a bag of weed from the clerk, he's a small time dealer, and then we went back outside. I figured the weed might be a way to settle us down.

We got in the car, and I started the engine. I pulled out of the parking lot and onto the road. We were on our way back home, but we were both in no condition to drive.

I started to hallucinate again, and I could see strange creatures in the back seat of the car. I demanded that Ignacio parley with our uninvited guests to acertain thier demands. I was starting to freak out, and I didn't know what to do. Ignacio saw that I was freaking out, and he started to laugh. He told me to relax, and that everything was going to be okay.

I tried to relax, but I couldn't. I was too scared. I thought that I was going to die. Ignacio's face turned into a deamon before my eyes, then melted off and re-grew back to its normal state in less than 3 seconds, for me a decade of blood soaked horror.

We finally reached home, and I pulled into the driveway. We got out of the car, and I went inside. I collapsed on the bed, and I closed my eyes. I knew that I was going to be okay, but I also knew that I would never forget this day.

The next morning, I woke up feeling hungover and exhausted. I got out of bed and went to the kitchen. I made myself a cup of coffee, and I sat down at the table. I thought about what had happened the day before, and I smiled.

I heard a comotion in the frontyard. I got up and looked out the front window to find Ignacio. In his LSD addled state had regressed to an ape decided to climb up a tree. There's no way that bastard could have gotten up there with out being out of his face melting mind. I think awaking to such heights gave him quite a shock. His screams cut the tranquility of the early morning as he demanded that he be relieved from his post. It would be several hours before the Fire Department freed him. What great days those were.

This story is a bit too far-fetched to be true. Who knows what really happened on their trip.

LSD and mescaline are what made this story possible! Drugs should not be taken lightly though.

It's important to stay safe when exploring the unknown, and make sure you know where you're going and how to get back.
