It's no secret that the average price (#ad) of a new car in the US is now a whopping $50,000. That's a hefty price tag for the average American. Although the US automotive industry is doing better than ever, it's time for car makers to do a better job of providing options for people who can't afford this new price tag. There is an entire generation of people who are being left out in the cold by high prices.

It's not enough to just make more expensive cars for people with deep pockets. US car makers need to start thinking about the people who can't afford these cars. There are plenty of options for the wealthy, but those same options don't exist for people who are living paycheck to paycheck. US car makers need to start thinking outside the box and come up with new options that are both affordable and reliable.

It's time for US car makers to start taking the needs of the average American seriously. If they don't, they risk alienating an entire generation of customers. The automotive industry is doing well, but it can do better. US car makers need to start investing in options that are both affordable and reliable for the average American.
