Creamed Corn: So Gross, It Shouldn't Be a Thing

Ah, corn. A staple of summer barbecues, a favorite side dish, and a beloved Vegetable. It’s sweet, it’s juicy, it’s the perfect addition to any meal. But, unfortunately, there’s one form of corn that I just can’t stomach - Creamed Corn. From the moment I laid eyes on it, I knew that it was something I wouldn’t be able to try. I mean, how could something so creamy and delicious turn into something so gross and unappetizing?

It’s the texture that really makes me cringe. Instead of the juicy kernels of corn that I’m used to, Creamed Corn has a thick, pasty consistency that just isn’t appetizing. It’s like someone took a can of corn and turned it into a gluey, gooey mess. And the taste? Well, let’s just say it’s not something that I’ll be adding to my shopping list anytime soon.

And that’s why I’m here to call for the end of Creamed Corn. Sure, it may have its fans, but I think we can all agree that it’s an abomination that should be banished from our tables. So, next time you’re at the grocery store, forget about the Creamed Corn and grab a can of regular corn instead. Your taste buds will thank you.

Creamed Corn may be a popular side dish, but I think we can all agree that it’s just not good. So, let’s all do our part to end the Creamed Corn reign of terror and embrace regular corn instead. Trust me, you won’t regret it.

I may be in the minority, but I actually like creamed corn! I think it has a unique flavor that regular corn doesn't have.
